Dr Lal specialises in cataract surgery and the management of macular degeneration.
He graduated from the University of Sydney and completed his training in ophthalmology at Sydney Eye Hospital in 1998. He then undertook further training in retinal diseases at St Thomas’ Hospital, London.
Dr Lal is a visiting Medical Officer at Sydney Adventist Hospital and a Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University.
He is a member of both the Australian and American Societies of Cataract & Refractive Surgery and an Executive Member of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists.
