Dr Kate Ahmad is a consultant neurologist specialising in neuro-ophthalmology and neurogenetics. She holds a Staff Specialist appointment at Royal North Shore Hospital and consults at Sydney Adventist Hospital
Dr Ahmad completed her medical training at The University of Tasmania, graduating in 2003 with honours. She undertook neurology training in Australia and the UK, followed by a fellowship year in neurogenetics/neuromuscular disease.
Her special interests include neuro-ophthalmology and neurogenetics, and her research focuses on inherited diseases of the eye.
