Dr Miranda Say is a clinical neuropsychologist with specialist interest in dementia, neuroimmunology, and movement disorders. She graduated from Macquarie University and completed her doctoral training in movement disorders at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. Dr Say has held a public appointment at Concord Hospital, working in general neurology with a special involvement in dementia, including young onset/genetic dementias.
Dr Say is highly skilled in neuropsychological assessment for the purposes of diagnosis, and also in guiding rehabilitation. She has a special interest in the assessment of mental capacity from a legal perspective. She is trained to offer psychological and cognitive therapies including family therapy for those with chronic illness.
Dr Say has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, and has co-authored an internationally-renowned cognitive rehabilitation manual. She is a reviewer for scientific reports. Her research has won awards both locally and internationally.
