Dr Greg Moloney
Dr. Moloney graduated with honours from UNSW medicine and went on to train as an ophthalmologist at Sydney Eye Hospital. He completed fellowship training in both cornea and oculoplastics at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. At the completion of his training he joined faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor at the UBC Department of Visual Sciences. In addition he is a Clinical Lecturer at Sydney University and a fellow of both the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has published numerous peer reviewed articles and presented at national and international meetings. In 2012 he was the recipient of the Ron Jans award, presented for the most promising corneal research project in Canada, for his work on new techniques in corneal transplantation. His fields of interest include lamellar corneal transplantation, refractive surgery in the aberrated cornea, eyelid and lacrimal surgery.
